CTIA - Day 1
By David | March 27, 2007

That’s it! The CTIA is at it again and bigger than ever. The US market was believed to be lagging behind Europe in terms of mobile content services, but beware… it’s catching up faster than one would expect. Over 120,000 square meters (400,000 sq. ft) of exhibition, demonstration and meeting space, keynotes with top execs and… Bill Clinton and George Bush Senior on Thursday morning (curious to find out what they will have to say on wireless though).
This morning’s keynote included a very professional speech delivered by AT&T’s COO Randall Stephenson (picture above), who was putting the finishing touch to Steve Job’s marketing for Apple’s upcoming iPhone (which will initially be sold exclusively through AT&T).
Lots of meetings and little time to write, but I’ll do my best to post a bit more before heading back to Europe.
